Updating schedule for Soy Luna episodes with English subtitles

 Since I'm posting English subtitle files and uploading full episodes of all seasons of Soy Luna, I decided to make an uploading schedule so you know when there are new files or episodes available of the season you want to watch.

Every Wednesday:

English subtitle files of 3-4 episodes of season 1

Every Sunday:
English subtitle files of 3 episodes of season 3/one episode of season 2 (what I will post depends on the time I'll have during the week)

I will also post the dates of the uploads on their respective pages of all the seasons. If there's no date, I don't know the date myself so please don't ask when the next upload is. I don't know it either.

Important announcement

 I have great news for the people who want season 1 and season 3 with English subtitles.

Starting this week , I will be uploading the subtitle files of season 1 and season 3. Which means, you'll be able to download the English subtitles files of these seasons. I will not, however, be uploading full episodes of these seasons. 

I will provide links where you can download the episodes. This way, you'll only have to add the subtitle files in VLC media player and you're set to watch the show.

I don't know yet if I'll continue to upload full episodes of season 2 with subtitles or just post the subtitle files like I will do with the other seasons. This will be decided later on.

I must warn you, updates will be frequently, so I will not add the subtitle files all at once. There are 220 episodes of this show and it's not easy to just upload the files all at once, it takes some work to actually get the subtitle files. Dates of the release of episodes of each season will be announced as soon as I know them so don't ask me when the next upload will be if you can't see a date yet.

For now, I will launch the page of season 1 this Sunday and on Sunday, December 6th, I will also upload the subtitle files of episodes 1-3 of season 1. Other episodes will come later on.

Posting schedule

So I feel like I need to address once and for all how I post episodes with English subtitles on here. I've already explained this on my YouTube channel but I'll do do it here as well.

I usually don't know when I'll be posting a new episode. Translating episode is not my priority, I still go to college and I have other projects as well. So don't ask a few days after I released an episode when the next one will be posted because I can't even give an answer myself. I do not work on a schedule with this site. I just translate whenever I have the time.

But when I do know when I'll be posting a new episode. I will always post it on the season 2 tab on this site.

Will season 2 be completely translated?

Now on to the question of whether or not I will be translating season 2 completely. The answer to this question is probably no.

The reason for this is because Soy Luna is available on Disney+. Normally, every country that has the service, will get the show eventually in their catalogue, it's just a matter of when.

Season 1 is currently the only season available there but season 2 will be released soon. When it will be available depends on where you live. Normally, you'll get season 1 a few months after Disney+ is launched in your counrty and every country is different in this case.

But for this site, I'm going with the season 2 release date of the USA and Canada. There's no official release date yet but it's supposed to come to the service around August or September. You will know when it's available when I post on the season 2 tab.

For now, I know I will translate up until episode 20 of season 2. I will also be translating episode 40 and 41 and probably episode 80 because a lot of people have asked me to do so.

Will this site still be updated once season 2 is released on Disney+?

I've decided to start translating season 3 when season 2 is released on the service. I will continue to do so until season 3 is released as well. This could take a few months but there's nothing official about this yet. I don't know if I'll get back to translating season 2 once I stopped translating season 3. But that's a question for the future.

What about the people who don't have Disney+

I understand that some people might not have access to the service. So I decided that once I take a break from translating season 2, I will make a tutorial on how to watch full episodes with English subtitles yourself. With this tutorial, you'll have to translate the subtitles yourself but you can use an automatic translator for this and I will give you a list of the most common errors in these translators. Everything will be explained in the video. The links will be given as well. This tutorial will be available on my YouTube channel. You will also find the latest updates about episodes with English subtitles there.

News about posting new episodes

As you might have noticed, I recently posted episode 10 on here.

I'm writing this because I'd like to tell you something. I've seen a lot of people asking when episode 11 will be out. While I'm glad you're so eager to watch the episodes. I'd like to clear something up. 

I know you want to see the entire season but I'm translating all the episodes on my own and please understand that I can't upload fast because of this. I have to translate 1000 lines worth of dialogue for every episode which is a lot. It takes me about 8 hours give or take to get episodes ready to be published and translating Soy Luna episodes is not the only thing I do. I translate another show and I write stories. Right now, my priority is on my stories because now I have the time to do what I love most. I go to college and I have a break from it now. I'd like to get a lot of writing done before my internship later this year. So this site is not my priority right now. 

Please understand that it takes time to get episodes ready to publish. I do it all manually to ensure right translations and it's not the only thing I do. 

As for news about episode 11. I have no idea when it will be available. But I am sure that it won't be as long of a wait as it was for episode 10.

Update on new Soy Luna episodes with English subtitles

Since a lot of people have been asking me about new updates, I decided to make this post to inform you.

I don't know an exact date for episode 10 to be posted but I can tell you that you will have a new episode by the end of next week and hopefully, I'll post more regularly from now on. 

If you want to be more up to date with all the updates on new episodes, you can always check my YouTube account. I post all the lastest updates there. I will also post an updated version of my tutorial on how to watch Soy Luna episodes with English subtitles. I don't know when it will be done yet. But in this tutorial, I'll give you links on how to watch all seasons including season 1 and 3.

Update on new episodes with English subtitles

I've currently translated 15 minutes out of 50 minutes of episode 9. The episode will be posted soon but I can't say when.

Be patient with my uploading. I know a lot of people are at home getting bored at this moment and I want to put an extra effort in my uploading so you could have new content to enjoy. But I would also like to say that every episode counts 1000 lines worth of dialogue that I have to translate by hand because I don't trust automatic translators. It takes a while to get it all done. Plus, uploading tends to take hours if I don't want to pay anything.

Anyway, stay safe in these dificult times. More importantly, stay at home if you don't need to go anywhere, it's important to keep your loved ones and the weaker groups safe in these times.
